1:1 Devices

Students using iPads.

Every Julian Curtiss student is issued a district-provided iPad to extend learning in the classroom and to create digital projects. These devices are utilized to heighten instruction and the technology supports the modification and redefinition of tasks previously inconceivable. This level of personalization allows students to demonstrate their thinking, collaborate with other students, and create projects that showcase what they have learned. In addition, all students are issued a set of headphones, and students in grades 2-5 are issued an external keyboard. Students who bring their iPads home are responsible for keeping the device charged and bringing them back and forth to school each day. Please help your child understand that school iPads are meant for school work only. Students who leave their iPads at school have charging capability in each classroom.
